I bought this camera on a SUPER sale and it was the only one in stock. This camera takes beautiful pictures and the fact that it's a Micro Four Thirds and I can use this camera's lens on my BMPCC and vice versa is a nice achievement. If you are a beginner or an intermediate photographer, this is the perfect option. I also know some professional photographers who use this camera on set. This is generally in line with the price range, and the versatility is undeniable, the camera reigns supreme. The only drawback is the video quality. It's okay, but it's not something you want to make a movie about. Decent but not great. But mostly for the pictures. If you want both PHOTOS and VIDEOS, get the DMC-G5 here --> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EMHNSHY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00EMHNSHY&linkCode =as2&tag=filmsbydresdiscounts -20&linkId=54HVKE3AZSKS3SPU
