Permanently added to the range of personal care products!

I've heard a lot about hair removal and thought it was time to give it a try in these brave new days of self-care. I'm new to this but I knew the number one thing I wanted was waterproof because it seemed so much easier to add to my nightly routine. So far I've only used it on my legs and they stay smooth for about 4 days. I pluck up the courage to move on to armpits and bikinis. It's still one of those things I need to find the strength within myself to do, but once I've started it's really not that bad! Below are some thoughts and things I've learned. - Read the instructions on the listing page. The printed instructions that came with the device were confusing. There were pictures of different parts but no explanation of how or how best to use them. - Use the pictures in the written instructions to learn how to clean the device. The pain is unexpected at first, but not severe. It's like rubber bands clicking on the skin. It was unexpected at first, but I got used to it and had no problem touching the same spots over and over again. I used shaving cream (as listed) because while the pain wasn't too bad, my skin is prone to irritation. So I wanted to make it as smooth as possible. The shaving cream may have caused me to go over the same spots over and over again, but I think it definitely helped prevent irritation. The broad base covered a large area and I liked how quickly the details changed. .- After that, I used my trusted Amlactin lotion, which smooths out imperfections on my hands to further prevent inflammation. I think it worked because my legs look the same as they did after shaving but feel a lot smoother for longer! It's an extra investment of money and brain power, but it saves me time in the long run. I would recommend this device! ***Update: I still love this thing! I use it about once a week and haven't really had to charge it yet. I finally found the courage to work on my armpits. It definitely hurts a lot more than the legs, but then again, pulling hair out means it will grow back more slowly, or at least at different rates. Every time I do it hurts less and less just because there's less hair. I still highly recommend doing it in the shower and now I definitely recommend challenging the armpit area!
