Peltier chips are cooled by a water circulation pump. The pump must be running whenever power is applied to the chips. The fan should blow cool air around whatever you are cooling. Unlike other devices, the fan has nothing to do with cooling the Peltier element. Many reviewers don't seem to get that. I wasn't sure if it should be installed through the radiator wall. I tried it like this as an experiment, but it cooled better when everything was inside. It is good that there are only small holes in the insulation for the hoses. I wired all four Peltier chips in series so they only draw about 5 amps. Another option would be 10 or 12 amp pairs in series for more power. I have it in a very well insulated solar oven box. For my testing, I used a small water container and a small 12 volt pump. As the water got warmer, the cooling eased off, so a large water tank will certainly help. Therefore, a larger pump or a second pump with one on each side might be good. The components are solid and well put together.
