Is there anything more durable

so I got my first phone a very long time ago I think 8-10 years. A few years later I got another one and last year the 3rd. I buy cheap batteries so I have to change them every year. I've read several reviews about how clunky and unrealistic their software is. I kind of agree. While the ringtones provided aren't very good or pleasant, they are more or less meant to be heard. They lasted forever (several years) due to heavy abusive use. not all of the time. several times I dropped one or the other into the water. you have gone through a wash cycle. the latest one i bought, the speaker shakes a bit when i put it on speakerphone. and about the range I live in a trailer. I can't get a cell phone signal indoors. I can walk about 800 feet on one side with one of these phones on a full battery. only about 50 on the other side of my house. I recommend this brand because it lasts so long and is easy to use (yes, each phone needs to be installed separately. (Use caller ID and spend a week programming all the numbers you need) or don't buy them all phones at once ). I have an old type that doesn't allow copying the complete phone book. Either way, good phones if you want something durable. I myself love the hands-free function. You are on the phone. Put your phone on the coffee table and do whatever you want. But I warn you, these phones have bat mics! I didn't believe it when my friends told me so I had to see and hear it myself. A bag like a bag of potato chips isn't really that loud unless you're at the other end of it. it sounds like glass cracking in your ear. I can't understand how he can capture THIS sound so well and others can't. Well, don't eat chips or talk on the phone if you don't like who you're talking to. the same with dishes. That's not to say other phones aren't better. I've had some really good ones, but it seems to me the more you pay the less durable things become. You don't have to be careful with them. I have 1 with a broken screen even with a small piece of plastic about 2 years old. they will serve. and for $20, that's not bad at all, the reason I'm here today is because my base unit burned down last night. 2 different dogs, a cat and a kitten, all chewing through the string at different times. He has seen many storms in his time. and it predated my Amazon membership. Yes, buy before Amazon.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Hard to say
