I ordered this thinking it would be a pretty easy install boy was I wrong. WiFi didn't work then. So I tried again, this time using the QR code that was on the outside of the box, which led me to the app for it (EZMira), installed the app and then did the same thing. as before, but via the app, and then follow the in-app instructions to set up the Chromecast features it "supports". As instructed, I opened the Google Home app to set it up as a Chromecast device, but it didn't show up when searching for devices. I tried the FAQ in EZMira but it was useless as all their instructions were for 4 year old phones. I've tried resetting and starting the device over 7 times and no matter what I did it didn't work. The best part is that I have a lot of experience with networking and configuring equipment from an IT contract job I used to do. So if I couldn't figure it out, the average person who isn't very tech savvy would never be able to make it work properly. This is cheap Chinese junk that just wastes your time and effort and stresses you out when all you want to do is stream Netflix from your phone to a projector in your room.
