Good product! - Data storage
I installed this on my MacBook because my hard drive was damaged. I had an external backup drive. First off, it was an easy install and it worked great! I failed by backing up directly to it and it locked the drive with no OS just my backup. So I cleaned my external drive and installed the operating system on it and then backed up the system. So my advice is to install the operating system before restoring from a backup.
