Finger. I'm older, a little arthritis. and this mouse works really well, stays exactly where I want it and doesn't slide around like lower slick mice sometimes do. The wheel is easy to use, as are the left and right clickers. It also has a nice long cord that works well on a desktop. I run a cable that connects to the screen and through the keyboard slider. I'm not a gamer and not entirely sure what they need, so I can't comment on that. I put together a 800 piece puzzle online every day and this mouse is good for it, I can move the mouse directly to the place I want, it's very easy to pick up a piece. A very accurate and easy to use mouse, and it's better than the previous one. that Revain had on the label
