I ordered 2 of these after my Chevy dealer said it would cost me $165 to change the key and another $45 to program it and said it could take up to an hour to change it to program. I had a mobile locksmith that cut keys for $40 each and he told me how to program them just by sticking them in the ignition. Took me less than 20 seconds for both, better than getting ripped off by the dealer, especially when that's where you get service. Oh, the dealer said the blade to be cut was cheap metal and would be undercut. NO, the whole key was like the original one.
