I bought them for my baby. Last winter I just insulated it and wore black leggings under pants on very cold days. He's getting older and I wanted to give him a pair of long John boots. They are pleasantly soft to the touch. My baby loves them and that makes me happy. We don't have to fight if I have to put them on him lol. They are lightweight so they can easily slip under clothing but provide a protective barrier against the cold. Hooray.
