As the title suggests, I have mixed feelings about the Cilucu Women Sequin V-Neck Maxi Prom Dress Tutu Sleeveless Bodycon Mermaid Wedding Gown. Don't get me wrong, the dress itself is stunning. The sequins are shiny, the tulle tutu is fluffy, and the mermaid cut hugs in all the right places. However, I struggled with a few issues throughout the night. Firstly, the dress is heavy. I'm not talking a little bit heavy, I'm talking feels-like-you're-carrying-a-second-person heavy. As much as I tried to convince myself that it was worth the pain, my aching shoulders and back begged to differ. Secondly, the dress is VERY glittery. While some people may love the sparkle, I found it to be a bit overwhelming. I felt like a walking disco ball and found myself trying to avoid too many photos that showcased the dress in all of its sequined glory. Lastly, although the dress is advertised to be a prom/wedding gown, I think it's better suited for prom. The mermaid cut is very form-fitting, which makes it difficult to sit and dance in. I found myself having to constantly readjust my dress throughout the night. Overall, while the Cilucu Women Sequin V-Neck Maxi Prom Dress Tutu Sleeveless Bodycon Mermaid Wedding Gown is beautiful to look at, it may not be the most practical option for a wedding. If you're planning on standing for the entire night and don't mind a little extra weight, then this dress could be the perfect fit for you. However, if comfort is a top priority, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
