I purchased these feathers to add a significant plume to a chapeau bras worn with a uniform for reenactment of the War of 1812.I bound four of the feathers together, added a wire loop and placed a deep pocket inside one side of the chapeau bras to receive the plume.
This allows me to remove the plume when traveling.I am very pleased with my purchase as well as with the finished project.
- The packaging, they were shoved in my mailbox in a plastic package. They're so fragile.
- I needed them to be bigger but that’s my own fault.
