I used this Moto 5G Ace phone holster with a protective case. The Moto 5G Ace is a long, heavy phone, clumsy as Dickens. I can't think of a belt holster that fits this phone better than this one. The phone fits well in the pocket. With one touch, the phone can be easily opened and removed from the holster. This pocket is far from perfect, but under the jacket - and this is largely because Moto The 5G Ace is so massive that even a shoulder holster won't fit through the jacket. The holster has a strong metal belt clip which can be used in place of belt loops or with belt loops a metal clip, I suspect the pouch may detach from the belt if the person sits down. I decided not to risk it and decided me for loops. If belt loops are used, the metal belt clip will issue. On the one hand, it's a bit fiddly to attach the bag to your belt with the loops *and* the clip; On the other hand, the sleeve absolutely does not slip off my 1.5" double-thick belt. However, hard times come when you transfer the belt to another pant and the wrestling match starts all over again. Despite this, I am very satisfied with this holster.
