Not for very thin needles with a very small eye.
The needle threader fits comfortably in your hand. But the first one I used broke. The next time I used one, it didn't go through the eye of a needle. I use a very small quilting needle for hand sewing quilts. They're useless to me if I can't get them through the eye of a needle. I expect they will work fine on a big eyed needle.
