I don't know why I need 10 caps as I rarely have bottled wine anyway, but before I could never find them when I needed them so I have spares now. several boxes. However, they are always the last place I look! Seriously, most wine stoppers I've ordered in the past are much larger than these and I've always had trouble putting wine bottles back into my wine cooler the way they would. went on the shelf above. They're much shorter and work just as well as any other, except I can put open wine bottles back in the wine cooler. I haven't tried putting bottles on their side with these stoppers, but I expect them to leak if I try.
