I bought this tackle because I'm ice fishing in northern Minnesota. Wanted a bubbler to extend the life of my minnow and got exactly that. When it's fully charged, you should have 24 hours before you need to charge it on the wall. That's more than most fishermen need. You can attach it to the wall to keep it bubbling and keep your bait alive longer. He kept a standard serving of crappie minnows (40 minnows?) alive for 24 days. Might lose a night or two. But that's no problem. I had 9 by day 24 when I decided to feed the rest to a cat outside. If some had some sort of minnow food, the minnows life could probably last many months. Buy bait once for the whole season.
