So I bought these thumb grips for my PS5 dual shock controller. My thumbs kept slipping off the OEM delights. My trick to putting them on was to turn them inside out. A little tricky but putting it on was sooooo easy. I wiped the joys and the inside of the grips with alcohol. Carefully place them on the joys and fold them. Voila, perfect fit. However, after intense online play in Red Dead, the right grip landed in my lap. Hm. Put it back on. Came back after a while. So (disclaimer here. Try the following at your own risk) I used clear silicone sealant/glue to glue them on. Loc(k)tite 908570. Apply masking tape to the entire joystick and controller area to prevent accidental application of adhesive to unwanted areas. Only the grip of joy was open. Applies to the joystick at the top and around the top edges. Not too much, but a little more than just a movie. Replace the handle(s) immediately. I had to leave them overnight. Results? Since then he has not come off, has played hundreds of hours. Now if I were to replace worn or damaged grips, the grips and adhesive "should" peel off. Don't quote me on that. Last word, I like her. Would buy again.
