Works great! This is my first "head massager". I bought it because my hair suddenly fell out last year. I didn't have any obvious bald spots, but seeing such an uneven amount of hair on my hands every time I shampooed my hair was not only uncomfortable but scary. It worked great and everything is back to normal! My scalp looks very fresh and healthy again. I have normal (not too thick and not thin) black hair, which I inherited from my Asian parents. I think my hair and scalp have always been healthier, but as I approach my 30s (and I love the outdoors) I'm considering taking better care of my hair and scalp. After experiencing hair loss, I get serious. I started regularly moisturizing my scalp with witch hazel tonic, now with sweet almond oil and this massager. I dry it with a towel and then, as always, with a hair dryer. I started wearing more hats to avoid unnecessary UV exposure. It has no motor or anything in it. It's just a piece that looks like silicone. Very easy to clean as it is literally in one piece. No need to disassemble. It has the perfect hold for the scalp. I wish they had more colors like white or navy blue. I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends or family members.
