Review on 🎧 Black TOPPING E30 Hi-Res DAC AK4493 32Bit/768kHz DSD512 HiFi XMOS XU208 Stereo Digital Audio Decoder by Carl Movahed

I only bought this for the DAC, not the preamp and I have to say I'm blown away by the sound. It's so good that I'm having a hard time distinguishing Hi-Res sound from 44.1 CD quality, which may result in me canceling my Qobuz subscription. So why only 4 stars? When used on my iPad or iPhone with the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, connecting the side of the flash to charge the iPad causes the E30 to not work. It's okay if your iPad is fully charged. Overall, the $149 DAC is pretty impressive.
