Review on πŸ”§ Enhance Your Jeep Liberty's Performance with Pedal Commander PC31 Throttle Response Controller for 2nd Gen Models (2008-2012) by Matt Morgan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great product, should probably be cheaper but works really well

It's more expensive than it looks for what it does (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) but I would definitely buy it again and don't want it to be gone. Installation only takes a few minutes, but the port you need to connect to can be difficult to reach. I installed mine invisibly behind a removable plastic panel just below the steering wheel. I don't intend to change the settings very often. It saves the setting so you only have to touch it when making changes, not every time you drive. I put it on economy mode when climbing to avoid accelerating too quickly and the rest of the time I leave it on City 4 which makes it very responsive and eliminates the pedal lag that a standard Jeep has. I love that I can turn it off when I take my car to the dealership and they don't even know it's there (although I don't think they'll have a problem with that). I already installed a cold air intake and performance exhaust system on my jeep which adds some horsepower. It doesn't really add horsepower, but it does, because it makes the pedal as responsive as it should be. In fact, I'd say it had a more noticeable impact on performance than the cold air intake and dual exhaust combined. It's like calibrating the sensitivity of your computer mouse or game controller: if it's too slow it's annoying, and if it's too fast it jumps where you want it to, but if you type it right it shines knowing exactly what you want to do. This also applies to your gas pedal. Once you use it, there is no going back to stock. If you can afford the relatively high price, don't think twice - just grab it.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • I don't remember but something was
