The material is quite soft and dimensionally stable, which can fool me from pictures on the Internet. The zip has big gaps at the end or beginning, but it's ok for work and the beach - I wouldn't use it on a crowded bus or where I'm afraid of pickpockets. I like it. I adjusted the straps a bit: sewn them to the bag all the way to the top edge of the bag, making it slimmer.
