UPDATED 06/30/2019: A year later and I can't believe a single hair has fallen out. I'm used to the softness of the bristles and now my old badger brush feels awful! Below is my first review: The brush seems to be very well made and I haven't lost a single bristle yet. The handle is heavy and feels nice, and the colors are bright - this is a beautiful brush [barber pole colors]. A few unexpected features, this is my first synthetic brush including the fact that the brush actually holds a lot of water and that the bristles are extremely soft. While these qualities may be desirable, excess water can be difficult to shake off, and I'm used to the stiffness of a budget badger brush and the control that the stiffer bristles give me. The brush dries all day while hanging on the stand. I've found that I have to lather the soap for much longer to approach the thickness of the lather I've gotten before. However, the soft bristles feel comfortable on the face. I think I'm getting used to this brush, but it's a big adjustment for me.
