I ordered this replacement top over the winter to ensure I have it for the summer season. Our unexpectedly heavy rains finally stopped, allowing me to put the top up for the summer solstice. This is an unexpectedly pleasant item. Unfortunately without instructions. There are two parts to this; the main canopy and a smaller skirted top covering the vent in the canopy. They included a tool that made installation a lot easier once I figured out what it was for. A strap is sewn to one corner of both pieces. Here are the instructions they should have included: A "14" is sewn onto the wide side if you can't tell by eye. Assemble a small vent cap while standing securely on the ground. A strap is sewn into one corner to pull the final corner over the end of the frame. I didn't have to use it here, but that's what it's designed for. Please note that there are ties at the corners of the fringed shielding material. Throw a large canopy over the top frame of the gazebo, allowing the supports for the vent cover to protrude through the hole. Spread the canopy out on one side and place the two corners on the ends of the frame. Thread the assembled top frame through the open gazebo frame to get it on top. Insert each support into the appropriate socket. Loosely tie the laces at the end of the vent cover to the matching laces on the main dome. (This is the part I figured out after putting everything together, but didn't think it was important enough to take it apart and start over.) Finish laying out the canopy and slide the third corner on the end of the frame. The last corner to be fastened should be the one where the loop will be sewn. It takes a bit of tugging to stretch the material just enough to pull the final corner over the frame, and that's what the included tool is for. Use the tool through the loop to pull the fabric into the corner while you use your other hand (or preferably a second person) to work the corner pocket over the frame. After that, the fabric pockets in the middle slide easily onto the corresponding frame ends, and the Velcro fabric connections are obvious. Be sure to keep the tool where you can find it; I had to replace my old top because it ripped in the corner when I tried to take it off last fall. We hope this tool will make the removal process safer. Much luck!
