So, I'm that clumsy person who drops glass containers or accidentally sets plastic equipment on fire (it was an accident and no one was hurt). I dropped my blender on the floor and of course only the spout broke. I kept using it and then one day, because of the kind of person I am, I cut my finger on the sharp glass which shattered it. That was about 6 plus months ago. I've had this blender jar in my shopping cart for so long. Going back and forth and going back and forth to see if you can get it. Then I tried to burn my house down, accidentally setting the food processor on fire, and decided I needed something to mix food with. A blender jar is much cheaper than replacing the entire food processor. So here it is. It's durable, it's the same as the picture, it fits my blender perfectly. I couldn't be happier!
