Forget looking for decent dressing instructions. This caused me to break one of the pieces. (These photos are MY fault. They were NOT broken.) A small stick that looks like a shoehorn goes into the pen holder and is probably meant to create a "skin" around your device. Use it. However, once the case is on your iPad, you'll never want to take it off for fear of having to put it back on. ;-) But after switching it on it works perfectly. It's comfortable and durable. He feels invincible. PS: This is a video of a guy putting this on - look closely and you'll see it's edited to actually do the job. It is not so easy. But once it's on, it feels like armor.
