Review on Genuine GM 15055342 Auxiliary Connector by Scott Ramu

GM's plastic heater hose connector looks well made. I bought a GM fitting to compare to two other brands of heater hose fittings. I bought 2 replacement stamps, 3 years old. back and one recently failed. I removed the o-rings and found plastic burrs in the replacement brand that had failed. This could only happen in a mold or in machines that use O-rings. Also, the plastic retaining clip seems to be a bit more flexible on the GM, which I think would increase durability. So, except for the burrs, which were likely the cause of the failure, they're pretty close. Had a GM part been purchased first, there would have been no inconvenience from a leaking hose.
