This is without a doubt the softest, most comfortable shirt I own. It also takes longer to dry after washing than my other cotton or polyester t-shirts. This makes it great to wear on its own or as an undershirt if you don't sweat a lot. If you sweat a lot, it stays wet longer than polyester or nylon, and maybe even a little longer than cotton. The compromise is comfort, and dark black stays black longer than cotton, which fades more quickly to dark gray after a few washes.
