Appearance: Great casual wear but (in the right colors) conforms to the dress code at my place of work. Fabric: Light but not too light. Perfect for summer and incredibly comfortable in cool weather. I've worn them at night in mid 50's temperatures and 25 mph winds and they've been comfortable. In colder weather I wear leggings underneath and I suspect they will keep her warm into her 20's. I am very happy. Fits: They fit perfectly out of the pocket, but are a bit long. They were washed in warm water and the legs shrank about 1 1/2 inches giving them the perfect length while otherwise maintaining a perfect fit. Cotton shrinks a lot along the length, so I suspected they would. Wide enough not only to be comfortable, but also not to attract attention. The front pockets are deep and shaped so your stuff won't fall out unless you're hanging it upside down. The back pockets are perfect for a cell phone. SO comfortable and allows a great range of motion without being tied down. Perfect fit for me. Conclusion: These are my new favorite pants. I liked them so much that I bought five more pairs. Right price, right size and I can wear them anywhere.
