I use this on the rear rotor of my motorcycle when parked overnight (I close both front and rear rotors overnight or in unknown locations/public garages in malls. You can do that bike will not roll forwards and backwards even an inch when both rotors are locked). This lock fits well through the rear rotor ports. For the front rotor, I use the larger ARTAGO URBAN lock with UR10 alarm on a daily basis. Artago sells a separate good steel rack/rack that attaches to the rear footpegs or rear subframe. So it's no problem to take both padlocks with you on the bike, the main lock on a special Artago holder and this yellow padlock attached to the passenger seat belt while riding.
