The PSP is held in place very firmly by a rubber insert, so you don't have to worry about it falling out even if you turn the case upside down when it's open. The case has a solid and durable construction that allows you to fully open the case and place the PSP in a viewing position. It is intentionally designed so that all bottom ports as well as the shoulder button are accessible when the PSP is in the case, so you can listen to music and play games with the case closed without removing it. You only need to remove the system to swap the UMD or access the WiFi switch and USB port. The back of the case is shaped for a more ergonomic grip, allowing you to comfortably play the PSP while inside the case. It also allows the case to hold the PSP even with the extended battery installed protruding from the back of the PSP, which is unsuitable for most hard cases.
