I quickly tested them according to the instructions, saw them blinking and started wrapping them around the back of my wall mounted TV. It's not easy, but it's not the product's fault. The problem, however, is that the power supply only connects to the light bar via a small 4-pin connector about 1/2 inch long. It has no lock. or the attachment mechanism so it kept falling off. After I finished the installation, I secured the power supply with some sort of tape. I checked the light with the Magic Home app and found I had no green at all. I taped everything and took a closer look. My 4-pin connector only had 3 pins - the green pin was missing. I don't know if it fell out during installation or was sent with it. Instead of waiting for a return or exchange, I have solved the problem by making a "cable" out of colored jumpers, and like magic I had a green one! The power supply needs to be better designed, this tiny connector just isn't strong enough. rop and loose when installing in a home theater setup like I did. I'm happy with my fancy solution (although it shouldn't have been necessary) and the resulting lights are bright and very colorful. Be careful with this 4 pin connector and I think you will have a good experience.
