Maybe you can make it work but I couldn't. The instructions (written in 3 pt) are not easy to follow. I took a picture and enlarged it to read the instructions. Same goes for the lock so I could see the reset button. After playing around a few times, now none of the locks will open for me, no matter the combination. Maybe they will work for you. When I first got it and used the "default" combo 0-0-0 it worked, but after trying to change the combo and doing my best to follow the really tricky instructions, it stuck they hang and there was no combo . - not the default or the one I entered - will work. Luckily I also bought 2 small master locks which the instructions were easy to follow and both worked fine.
