Initially I had some low expectations for this product due to the low price and some negative reviews of poorly made parts, missing components and reports of broken steering racks. However, I could not have had a better experience with this shoe rack. I ordered a set of two shelves. I was skeptical about the small size of the package and concerned that I only received one of the two but the box contained parts for both racks. I even counted all the parts to make sure the kit was complete before proceeding with the assembly. All posts were in good condition and fitted snugly into the plastic brackets. Nothing was too loose or needed to be forced; each just needed a solid nudge. It was also easy to adjust each shelf so they all lay flat. I combined the two blocks to create a single rack configuration. I didn't take the time, but it took less than half an hour with the "help" of an easily distracted 8 year old. When I was done, I got a great basement storage solution for our family's seasonal shoes. My wife really liked the look. While it's really light, it also seems pretty solid in terms of construction. Just make sure it's on solid, level ground. Highly recommended.
