I received this product a few days ago. Setting up the router was very easy. I connected my computer to 1 of 3 LAN ports and it got a DHCP address from the router. From there I was able to connect to the router via the website to start the setup. Configuration was easy as you walked through the setup of the device step by step. After making some changes such as B. setting up Wi-Fi and a password to manage your router, you can use the device. This router comes with most of the standard features you would expect from a home router, like DHCP, guest WiFi, etc. Another feature that might come in handy is the ability to set per-device bandwidth limits. I tested it and it works pretty well, although it's not accurate, it doesn't allow the devices to use the full bandwidth. I ran various speed tests around the house. My house is 2 floors and about 2500 square meters. The first 3 tests were performed upstairs, on the same floor as the router. They all pretty much maxed out my internet connection. Going downstairs I saw some bandwidth drops, which was to be expected given that there were more obstructions between my device and the router etc. Also, it would probably be a bit better if the router was downstairs while I was testing my device upstairs, as this device tends to project the signal out and up instead of down. Overall I'm impressed with this device as it only costs around $45. As router prices keep going up to $200, this is a good router under $50. My only complaint about this device is that you can't set up a control password that contains special characters, it's not a deal breaker, but I generally try to use both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters in my passwords, like them are. safer Another reliable device for the price!
