It doesn't make my hair shiny or brittle. It has a matte look and makes my hair a little flexible. I used to use regular fiber in a jar but it took me too long trying to work on my hair. This cream is very easily absorbed and significantly speeds up hair styling. The product is also easy to rinse off. Overall, I highly recommend this fiber cream.
