Review on Shark Lift-Away Pro Steam Pocket Mop - White (S3973D) by Leo Torres

Not impressed maybe my expectations were too high

I have a lot of whitish tiles on the floor that have gotten dirty and not that white anymore and I've read a lot of reviews about steam cleaners. I finally went with this because I liked the idea of a steamer for use on higher surfaces like showers, as well as the functionality of a clothes steamer. It arrived quickly and I was happy to clean the floors! I filled it with distilled water, let it warm up for a few minutes and got to work. I quickly noticed that it doesn't do anything conspicuous. I slowed down and made many, many crossings over the same area. I used the Power Steam feature and it helped a bit, but you can't use it all the time. It didn't make much of a difference and certainly no more than a regular mop for the amount of work I had to put into it. I walked slowly over a tile a few times and immediately put my hand on the tile - it was just a little warmer than room temperature. . Not hot, not warm, not impressed. I've also tried hand steam on shower tiles and it really didn't work. It helped to get the suds off the glass door but it took a lot of passes. The Magic Eraser works much better and doesn't cost $138. Unfortunately I sent it back and plan on cleaning my Cinderella style tiles with a cleaning brush.
