I have been using Faleemi products for over a year, some of their wireless pan and tilt cameras and most recently a wireless HD camera and have been impressed with their products and customer service. My latest acquisition, which is the subject of this review, is a webcam. I needed a webcam that could be used on a tripod and would work on both Windows 10 and Linux Mint. I got the product yesterday and hooked it up to my Toshiba Satellite and after a few minutes the laptop found out about the webcam and to test it all I had to do was go to the windows camera and down and there I was on the screen. Haven't tested it on Linux yet as I want to upgrade to a newer version. This is a very impressive webcam for the price and on Windows 10 I can switch between the integrated webcam on the satellite and the external Faleemi on a tripod. If I had to follow Faleemi's suggestion for this product, it would be slightly more detailed instructions. Update: Another reason I was interested in this webcam was to use it on a computer running Linux Mint. I have a webcam plugged into a USB port on an older Optiplex 330 running Mint 17.2. The lsusb command showed that the camera was found (arc international). I then ran the VLC command and was back on my display. Quite easy. Also works with the Linux cheese team and with the Facebook video messenger.
