A great idea is a tiered cat tree to climb/scratch on that doesn't take up half the living room. I bought this item for my energetic cat (2 years old) and she took to it straight away. It was relatively easy to install. It took about half an hour from the moment I opened the box to the moment my curious cat started to see what was happening and started climbing. You need to mount it on the wall, which is understandable as it is a sturdy tall cat climbing gear. Everything that can be mounted on the wall is provided, so there will be no problems with it. My cat usually sits on the back of the high chair in our living room/kitchen as she likes to be high up. Now that she has it she is even taller and usually sits on the top platform which is nice and tall. She likes to sit upstairs and watch everything. Overall, this product is a winner for me and my cat, and they even add some catnip!
