I like the look of pointe shoes. They are very elegant and well placed. BUT I wear a size 7 pointe shoes. I increased the size to a 7.5 knowing they would always be smaller than normal shoe size. I put them on and they were too small. I put my foot on the slipper and my leg lengthened 2 sizes. I was shocked. So I go back and get 2 sizes bigger than my usual size. Be careful when ordering. 2 sizes up is best and I highly recommend that** (I also have a very skinny and small foot so that shows how small these pointe shoes are** And they were wide only due to the swelling of the foot. .
