Don't expect a tailored look

I love the material and look of the 'Saddle Pad' - it pairs with a wide range of inner fabrics and looks like it will wear well. I used them on a first generation Toyota Tacoma seat to protect a WetOkele seat cover that my dog was starting to ruin. My complaint about them is that the stretch material that runs down the back and sides of the seat isn't strong - more like the stretch material of a pair of tights and a tie. Down jackets made from a low-stretch lace - one was torn while tying. If you rely on that alone, the cover will clump and slide around the seat and look unmade. I ended up piling up the extra material on the back and sides of the seat and zipping it up so the cover fits halfway decently. I had one of these covers for a pickup truck seat a few years ago and it was better because the seat fabric material stretched out on the sides and back and used really strong laces to fit snugly and secure the seat cover. It was a good case and it fit well. This new take on the seat cover is just another example of a good product that's not made as well by corporate bean counters. Don't expect a tailored look, but for thirty bucks it's not that bad!
