It's legal. I wish I had found it sooner. *update*.*update v2*

I originally bought a traditional retractable EZ awning (8x8) to cover the back of my Jeep Wrangler for space when camping in the rain Unloading/moving equipment was present weather. Then I found it to be 1/3 the weight and 1/3 the size (space in a 2dr Jeep Wrangler is at a premium) and more versatile in use. It has a gap to raise my rear window and open the tailgate. Personally, I assemble the front (remove the rails and use bungee cords in the rear wheels to secure) and bolt the rear to the ground with no poles. If you need more space, use the supports and the included side panel. The poles are heavy and strong. They are not adjustable, so to speak, but you can easily remove the section in the setting to your liking. The seams of the dome look strong and are sewn with tape. The guide stakes appear to be stolen and are of a much more durable quality than any tent (REI, military etc) I have ever had. The only thing I would change is to use thinner 550 style paracord guide lines to reduce bulk. Also consider the angle at which you park your car. So when it rains you want the nose of your car to be slightly down or flat to allow for proper rain drainage. - The cord of the support pillars tore and tore. The seller could not be contacted, so I returned the defective lamp and ordered another one. I hope that the new one will be without this error. *v2 update* Bought my second one (still waiting for a refund for returning the first one). The same thing happened. One of the shock absorbing "fiberglass" stays broke on initial installation. Dome looks good but required shock cord support post is defective.

Cons
