A friend bought one and my old one (different brand and battery operated) was dying. I wanted a lighted vest that IS RELOADED. It holds a charge and is very light. I use it for my morning run and have had many compliments and questions about it. Don't pay attention that the front light is powered by AAA batteries. I have a week without charging. I wear it for 1 hour to 1.5 hours every time I run and I go for a walk 6 times a week. I didn't blink the colors, just constantly, so I'm pretty sure this saves battery life.
