Good design. Links are not shared. I use it to clean my cast iron pans along with just enough water to wet the pan and a little coarse salt as a sanitizer. Easy to clean with soap and water or in the dishwasher. Be careful when washing dishes in the dishwasher as it can catch on moving parts and damage the dishwasher.
