Hook wrench appears to be well made. This is probably great for many applications. However, there are two limitations that you should be aware of. 1) "Hook" is a cylindrical pin. This can be good, even necessary, for some applications. However, if you try to remove the locking ring with the slots open, the pin will tend to slip out. A square/rectangular pin would be better. 2) The key is quite wide. Again, this may not be a problem in many applications. However, if you try to remove a bearing from a solid bicycle crank where the bearing sits directly on the sprocket, the wrench will be too wide and the pin will slip out of the groove when you push it.
