I bought this RAM to use with my new Ryzen 9 3900X. Here is my system: Motherboard: AsRock x570 Pro4 CPU: Ryzen 9 3900XRAM: Corsair 2666 CL16 128GB (4x32GB) NVMe: Silicon Power 2 TBGPU: Radeon Pro WX 2100 taken from another computer. My experiments confirmed that when all 4 slots are full, the RAM works fine on 2666 @1.2VI, also tried 3200 CL14 RAM in all 4 slots. It didn't work with XMP enabled as predicted by the motherboard specs. But it worked fine at 2933 and 1.35v when all 4 slots were occupied, so any DDR4 3000MHz can be used with it in all 4 slots. DDR4 3200 CL14 worked fine with XMP enabled and two slots populated. But for my project, I desperately needed 128GB of RAM, so I bought the fastest 4x32GB RAM available (this one) for only $620 from Revain (it's available on Corsair's website for $610) and he works fine with XMP enabled at 1.2V (and I don't want to overclock). With 3200 CL14 RAM, my system scored 12650 in Geekbench 5 on Ubuntu 18.04 (and about 11850 with 2666 CL16 RAM). So if you absolutely need 128GB, grab this one without hesitation. If you need 64GB, take any 3000 RAM and use it at 2933 and 1.35V (maybe 3000 will do). If you want your RAM to run at 3200+ then you can only use 2 slots (i.e. up to 32GB total as there are currently no 32GB faster DIMMs on the market than this). Maybe the 3200+ will run with higher DRAM voltages, but I don't want to try that.
