Review on Copic Multiliner Sepia Pigment Ink 🖌️ Markers: 4-Piece Set for Precise Line Art by Carol Miller

This beautiful sepia color is a great tool for steampunk, rustic or earthy themes. The color looks the same as on the packaging. I find the four different sizes in this set simple yet effective enough to line my designs. They make nice thin lines. The smallest tip is excellent for very small details. They can be used with Copic markers and will not bleed or smudge. These 4-pack multiliners are also available in black, gray and multicolor (blue/green/yellow/red). .--- So far I have only used three different brands of multiliners: Copic, Sakura and Staedtler. Copic multiliners have a thin tip. You must be careful when using them. You don't have to press hard to get a good hit. The ink flow is very controllable, allowing you to make smooth strokes. The ink doesn't bleed if you hold the nib in one spot for a fraction of a second too long and still has a nice, steady flow of ink. My only problem is that sometimes the tip dries too quickly. I find these pens are best for fine work and not for doodling or hard lines. The Sakura liners have a very thin tip. The tips wore out too easily, no matter how careful you were with them. However, they have a very good and even flow of ink until the tip flakes off. Staedtler Multiliner are my cheap pens. I don't use them for serious projects, but they're great for experimenting. The tips are very strong, will not break or bend. However, smaller nibs have terrible ink flow. I can barely achieve a smooth flow let alone a smooth ride. Large tips bleed too easily. I found it difficult to get a smooth ride at any size. However, I still love these pens for grunge work, painting or sketching, but when you can control the ink flow and pressure they produce nice smooth and thin lines. It just takes a lot of practice.
