I work from home with my laptop on a docking station connected to dual monitors. I had issues with flickering monitors and had to replace all my hardware while troubleshooting. I received a laptop cooling pad with a fan that wasn't being used and tested the theory that the problems were due to the laptop getting too hot. This drastically reduced the flashing frequency, but one fan wasn't enough, so I ordered this cooler with 5 fans. Everything runs! The laptop feels cool. I can hear the fans but they are very quiet and actually make a relaxing noise. I really like the height adjustment when I unplug my laptop and use it alone. The cooling stand also fits in my laptop bag so I can use it when I travel. I have shared information with my entire team to help them deal with the same issue. I have also advised my company's remote computing department to consider adding laptop coolers when shipping laptops/monitors/docks/etc. packages to employees for remote work.
