I have very dark brown hair with caramel highlights (bleached). I leave it on for 5 minutes, my hair doesn't turn green. I started with two minutes and did a quick flush just in case, but now I can last 5+ and I'm fine. It definitely softens the brassiness that my highlights have taken on. I don't notice any difference in the rest of the hair. It smells nice and makes it soft, so no complaints! It's not a miracle cure, I think I'll have to get my hair professionally tinted soon, but I can see it's really effective for maintenance when I do it.
