Pros: - SMART Utility with SAT SMART driver gives me support for Smartmontools SMART monitoring on my iMac. - The drive is very easy to install and fits snugly under my monitor on the side - Smart future proofing as more computers support USB 3.1 - The only noise is the drive itself. Cons: - The cooling seems to be mostly radiant. (no fan and not enough space for convective airflow) which means you have to keep it away from warm things (e.g. not stacked with other drives); If you're using a high-performance drive, I recommend keeping it upright.
