Before wearing them any further, I washed them according to the instructions on the label: machine wash cold, tumble dry, no dry cleaning. The gray pair came out nice and new while the black pair looked like I'd worn them for a year or two and washed them too many times. I wouldn't recommend a black pair to anyone if they all look like this after a wash. i give it back
