Review on Empava Recessed Gas Stove Cooktop by Kyle Ross

I am very impressed with this hob. My previous expensive GE glass cooktop blew up and I didn't want to spend a lot of money as I plan to remodel the kitchen in the next few years so I decided to try this Empava as the price is right, it has Italian burners and it had safety features . Now I plan to keep it when we renovate the kitchen. Stainless steel is easy to clean and looks beautiful. Grids are of good weight and quality. Italian burners work fantastic once you learn to hold the controls for a few seconds after they have ignited, otherwise the safety feature will activate and the burner will go out. If you light the burners a few times, this becomes the norm. All burners work great. There is a lot of space on this hob and I can put several 8-10 liter pots on it at the same time. Water boils at the speed of light. Everything is prepared quickly, and that's perhaps my only complaint. When I need to simmer something I often place it on the cooking burner as the other burners aren't weak enough for a really gentle slow simmer. But even that's not entirely a minus point, as I usually want everything to cook quickly to fry. I would recommend this hob to anyone looking for a quality Italian burner. I like it a lot more than my previous expensive GE series.
